Floating Youth Classroom for Marine Education

Studying the oceans inside a classroom may not be as appealing to students as immersing in actual marine habitats. The youth may not fully appreciate the true wonders of the sea when their only access is textbooks and other materials.

Breakwater House Foundation, Inc. in Miami, FL is committed to educating the youth on various aspects of marine life. We do this by teaching them on a floating classroom where learning and immersion is experienced at the same time.

Floating Classroom

Classes are conducted on a floating classroom where we will have a planned curriculum for the students. The class setting is interactive, allowing the kids to actively participate in the lecture and at the same time interact with the marine creatures being discussed.

Waterway Conservation

Part of our program is also to promote responsible conservation of waterways. We clean and study these bodies of water to make sure they are safe for the community.

Marine Navigation

Some kids may dream of becoming a sailor or a ship captain someday. They can experience cruising through the waves as we teach them how to navigate the waterways.
